MGT6195   Risk and Crisis Management for Manufacturing Organisations   (10 credits)

Description

This module explores risk and crisis management as well as recovery and damage limitation, within the context of manufacturing organisations. A core focus of the module is the manner in which organisations become dysfunctional. The module also provides a critique of some of the dominant theories within management, and in particular, will examine the role of latent managerial error, notions of incubation and error cost within decision-making and the development of organisational neuroses.
